Switching things up a bit. Trying out different art techniques. This was sketched in pencil and colored with watercolor pencils. I created this character randomly while I was doodling one day. She still needs a name.
Took a loong time to get this one done. Thought using color pencils in background would look cool and it kinda does but it takes way long to do it. Anyways, how would you rate it on a scale of 1 to 10? MHX out!!
Thie sword lily flower is a mess. It’s hard to figure out what is what when drawing with a ref photo. I made this study as a stage of réparation for a final watercolor piece (more like ink and watercolor). I used cheap watercolor pencils

the time when i drew this 2021 . I was very much into demonic thing of phase like real life demons like Malthus or valak or movies lie Conjuring and Annabelle. Was into something like that (Still am ) and in hardcore phase of paranormal activity and ghost that it made me create this image. I end up throwing this drawing away cuz i did not like the shoulders. It did not come out right.

I created this piece yr 2016 as portfolio to get into a company doing sketch card art, but by asking some sketch card artists on this site about how much you get paid for doing this sketch card art`and it was so ridiculous that I decided to not send this portfolio piece to the trading card company also you have to give up your original artwork to the company cuz they need to put this sketch card art in the pack of trading cards so lucky buyer will get the original sketch card that is the idea. For how much they paying the artists for giving up their original art did not make any sense to me .

One day I was watching Aliens, Predator ,and AVP things and It just make me get so inspired. I love those franchise to start with ,but gosh getting exposed to those franchises again just pouring art juice on me to get me so inspired to create as you this art piece. I wanted to have minime alien coming out of adult aline chest instead of cliche baby alien coming to make it different than what people expect. I just wish I had Artist grade color pencils instead of student grade I used on my color pencil art pieces, but soon or later I want to get artists quality color pencils. I am dying to try Polychronos color pencils. It is oil based color pencils. I been using wax based,but polychronos are expensive even more so than Prismacolors. If i want to save money and i gotten this brand before . It is Staedler triangle coloe pencils. They sell this stadeler color pencils of 48 colors for $13 at walmart.com. I might get that one I dunno. I do wana get Polychronos if not prismacolor but anyways Here is the art work using shitty color pencils. It seems like this scan looks better than my originals cuz i scan it and bring it to Photo impression software that came with the scanner to boost a bit of contrast cuz if u did not know student grade color pencils have less pigementations and more white fillers so u cannot make dark really nice dark or hightlight really nice strong highlight like artist quality color pencils can bring. Long time ago I bought these 80's Marvel universe official handbook from Clifton comic con in NJ. It is small con where itis held in small gymnasium and admission fee is free.
